When we see traits that we have repressed within ourselves, it helps to look for evidence. Ie. With "I am not good enough," if we keep on looking for evidence to support this, we will only see evidence that we are not good enough. It doesn't mean that the opposite isn't true though. When you start looking for ways "You are getting better" or "I am 1% better" or "I am good enough" you help yourself change your negative core wounds.
