Description: Self-created project for portfolio purpose that focused on creating stationery, postcard, and greeting cards.
Challenge: I needed to understand the existing market as in what designs already existed and what would be appealing to my audience.  I also needed to decide what the final designs would be (color, content, images, illustration, layout, typography) and what graphic design work I would create (stationery, postcards, greeting cards, envelopes).
Solution: To understand the project, I researched various designs for stationery, postcard, and greeting card design and also decided to focus on creating content that might appeal to the LGBT community (the rainbow house stationery), flowers with inspiriting quotes (stationery with envelopes), and spirituality (postcards).  I wanted my designs to be fun, witty, playful, simple but elegant, minimal, and clean-cut.  All of the designs, illustrations, and paintings were created by me.
